Anthony Callea is an Australian ARIA Award-winning singer, songwriter, and performer who began singing at just five years old. Since rising to national fame on Australian Idol in 2004, Anthony has established himself as one of Australia’s most successful and respected recording artists, renowned for his powerful, passionate, and unmistakable voice.
Anthony’s debut single, The Prayer, became Australia’s fastest and highest-selling single at the time, achieving more than four-times Platinum sales and remaining at number one on the charts for five consecutive weeks. He followed this remarkable success with another multi-platinum number one single, Rain / Bridge Over Troubled Water, and his self-titled debut album, which also reached number one and achieved multi-platinum status. Anthony Callea continued his success with the release of his second album, A New Chapter, which was certified Gold and featured popular singles including Live for Love and Addicted To You.
