Kate Langbroek co-hosted the Hughesy & Kate Breakfast Show on Nova 100 with comedian Dave Hughes.
A popular segment of the show, “Katie Cracks It,” featured Langbroek discussing everyday frustrations and humorous rants about life events. The segment became a listener favourite due to its relatable and comedic tone.
On 10 September 2013, Langbroek and Hughes announced that 2013 would be their final year hosting breakfast radio together.
