History Greg Gould & The Chase, essentially, was born on Facebook in December, 2012. Spawned from an overseas web chat between drummer James Callaghan in Sydney and vocalist Greg Gould in Baltimore, USA. After discussing musical influences, the artists they aspire to and what they would like do with their careers; it seemed almost fate that the two should work together… Greg Gould & The Chase embarked on a steady schedule of rehearsals, live shows and writing their own original material. As their connection grew stronger… the band’s sound started to thicken and discover its unique flavour of Jazz, Soul, Funk & Pop Music.
