JOHN FIELD & THE EPICS –
SYDNEY CORPORATE & WEDDING COVER BAND

After 25 years as a full time professional musician, John Field has now formed his ultimate party band, “The Epics”. This high octane, five piece band includes the vocal talents of John Field and Hannah-May Buckley; Phil Grove (The Hippos) on Piano and the most sensational rhythm section in the country – marvellous Mark Marriott (The Nevilles) on drums and uber cool bassman, Rowan Lane (Guy Sebastian).

John Field & The Epics is a literal powerhouse of performance energy. Whilst he is renowned for his writing and recording success – no less than 10 top 40 hits with The Cockroaches, and more than 400 songs for children’s supergroup, The Wiggles – John is also regarded as one of the best front men in the business. He relishes nothing more than turning a sedate audience into a surging throng on the dance floor. He’s big on smile, charisma and cheek! He loves what he does… and he lets it show!

John is joined up front by the scintillatingly gorgeous, Hannah-May Buckley. At just 24, Hannah’s soaring vocals have already inspired our Rugby Waratahs and our Aussie swimmers (with her national anthem) and she has ignited audiences in Las Vegas, on cruise ships and at major ceremonies such as the Helpmann and Ace Awards.

Hannah has the sass of Ann Margaret, the shimmy of Tina Turner and a blistering tour de force vocal that is part Janis Joplin, part Irma Thomas. In short, Hannah-May Buckley provides a virtual hurricane of entertainment that matches John Field’s stage energy step for step.

A virtual bible of some of the greatest hits of the decades, The Epics repertoire list sees the band equally at home at a corporate function, a wedding, school formal or a hot and sweaty pub. Rock, soul, swing, jazz and modern pop – they can, and do, play it all! Merely ask and your needs will be fulfilled. If you need an elegant jazz feel dinner set followed by a few party sets,The Epics will deliver. From Beyonce and Jason Maraz, to ABBA and Van Morrison, The Epics will adapt their set list to ensure your audience – no matter what their age – is smiling ear to ear!

John Field has entertained literally thousands of clients and their guests at corporate, charity, wedding, birthday and school events.

Importantly, John and his bands are frequently re-booked by these clients to appear again and again….the numbers in brackets below indicating the number of times John has been re-booked by the same client:
